During your consultation, our specialist will conduct a thorough analysis of your clinical condition, lifestyle, and preferences to determine whether Invisalign treatment is suitable for you. Based on the assessment, we will tailor a personalized treatment plan that takes into account your unique needs and objectives.

After deciding to start your Invisalign treatment, we will take x-rays, photos, and impressions of your teeth. These records, along with our instructions, are then sent to the Invisalign company, where technicians use computer software to create a 3D rendering and model of how your teeth will move. We will review and approve their work before requesting the creation of the trays. Occasionally, there may be adjustments are required between our office and Invisalign to ensure the treatment plan is accurate.

Once your custom-made perfect aligners are created, all you have to do is wait for them to arrive at our clinic so that you can start wearing them.

Once your Invisalign trays are ready, please schedule an appointment to receive them at our office. The trays are unique and must be worn in a specific sequence, with each tray to be used for two weeks. As you progress through the treatment plan, each new tray will bring your teeth closer to their desired position. While the aligners can be removed for eating and brushing, they should be worn consistently throughout the treatment process. Failure to do so may result in delays in progress and ill-fitting trays.

Upon completion of the final tray, a thorough examination will determine if any further adjustments are necessary. While it is common for some teeth to require additional refinement, we will work with Invisalign to order the necessary trays promptly. Please note that refinement trays typically take up to a month to arrive, and there is no additional cost associated with them.

Following the completion of your treatment, it is crucial to wear retainers to allow your jawbone to stabilize around your newly positioned teeth. Invisalign offers a durable and thicker product called Vivera, which is not replaced bi-weekly like the trays. Alternatively, you may opt for a wired retainer. Initially, it is essential to wear the retainer consistently, and ideally, you should continue to wear it for a few hours each week to prevent any shifts in your teeth over time.
